Macworld UK - Adobe axes LiveMotion
Adobe Axes LiveMotion
Adobe has ended development and distribution of its LiveMotion product.
LiveMotion was a Web design tool for building dynamic interactive content in Flash and QuickTime. A note on the company’s Web site confirms the decision, which was announced to existing registered customers on November 15.
"Adobe will no longer distribute LiveMotion 2.0," it says, adding, "Though Adobe has decided to concentrate its efforts in other areas, we want to thank our loyal LiveMotion customers for their support."
The company intends to maintain direct technical support for the product until March 31, 2004. LiveMotion support within the Adobe Support Knowledgebase and User-to-User Forums on the Adobe Web site will be available "until further notice".
